Located in the New Bradley Building, in the heart of Historic Downtown Wabash, Modoc’s Market and Espresso Bar is a popular local landmark. The coffee shop takes its name from Modoc the elephant who famously escaped from the Great American Circus in 1942 and proceeded to wreck havoc in the Bradley Brothers Drugstore, which once occupied these premises. Today, surrounded by many reminders of Modoc, you can enjoy your favorite coffee and meet some of the regular customers. The coffee is reported to be the best in the area and all their delicious pastries, muffins and other treats are freshly made from scratch each day. Soups and sandwiches are also available.
