Review:
Dr. James Ford was a prominent Wabash physician, author, surveyor, architect and dedicated family man. The Ford historic home was built in 1840 and was home to the extended Ford family for many decades until the last member of the family passes away in 2002. If these walls could speak, what stories they would tell. Today the historic home is owned and run as a living museum by the Honeywell Foundation. Stepping inside the imposing home is like stepping back in time to the mid-19th century. Visitors are treated to a guided tour of the mansion which still contains original fittings and furnishings which showcases the everyday life of an affluent 19th century family.
