Covering around 195 pretty acres, of which 7 acres are in the Scifres-Maier Woods Nature Preserve, the Celery Bog Nature Area and Lilly Nature Center is where you will find the popular Lilly Nature Center. Visitors to the nature area can enjoy exploring more than 4 miles of trails, on the lookout for many species of plants and wildlife.
There is also a footpath which offers interpretive signs and two nature viewing decks. The area provides a calm and enjoyable natural area for walkers and bikers to enjoy. You will find natural history exhibits in the Lilly Nature Center, which offers a variety of environmental programs designed to encourage people to enjoy and protect nature. The area is free to enter and offers great bird watching.
