With elegant, ornate lighting fixtures hanging from the equally ornate ceilings, and beautiful pillars and windows lining the walls, the Rio Grande ballroom at El Monte Sagrado is a gorgeous option for a reception venue. Also on the table are the slightly smaller Sandoval Room, as well as several other galleries and event spaces, which can be customized to suit the needs of the happy couple on their special day. At El Monte Sagrado, indoor or outdoor weddings can be held on the lawn, which has room for 400 guests and overlooks Taos Mountain, or at the Sacred Circle, which is fringed by waterfalls and tall trees.

2. Taos Art Museum at Fechin House
Taos Art Museum at Fechin House strives to make each wedding held there a truly exceptional one, with an attention to detail that is absolutely impressive. Receptions for small weddings can be held in the studio, or out in the gardens for larger celebrations, but any wedding will be held with a lovely connection to the art and the history of the museum and its grounds. Couples can choose to perform their ceremony in the museum’s gardens, surrounded by trees and beneath a gorgeous arched trellis. Photography sessions can take place in a wide variety of places on the grounds and in the museum, and the unique ambiance is one that will surely be memorable.

3. Hotel Don Fernando de Taos
With 126 guest rooms for wedding guests to stay in after the event is done, and over one thousand square feet of event space for indoor receptions and parties, the Hotel don Fernando de Taos is a part of a boutique collection by Hilton, so it brings to the table every bit of the elegance and attention to detail expected by the Hilton name.
