Sandy Shores Campground has been a favorite family-friendly camping destination on Lake Michigan's shoreline for nearly four decades, helping families create lasting camping trip memories on trips to beautiful Silver Lake. The charming Mears campground is surrounded by mature-growth trees and enclosed by a gated entrance, creating a secluded and safe environment for families to rest and relax throughout the year. Spacious campsites are offered for tents and RVs, featuring water, electric, and sewer hookups and amenities like complimentary wireless internet. Families can relax on a gorgeous private beachfront adjacent to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes or make use of the campground's lovely outdoor heated pool, which offers modern bathhouses and a coin-operated laundry room. Other amenities include a children's playground and a parkside grocery store.

Snow Lake Kampground is a lovely family-owned campground nestled alongside the banks of beautiful Snow Lake, located in the city of Fenwick. The non-membership campground offers over 300 overnight rental campsites, ranging from primitive tent campsites to RV hookup sites offering 50-amp electricity. Tents, pop-ups, trailers, motor homes, and park models can be accommodated onsite throughout the year. Lovely rental cabins are also available for overnight rental, sleeping up to four guests comfortably and conveniently located adjacent to the campground's main bathhouse facility. Onsite amenities include a country camp store, a fully-stocked game room, and a country-style full-service restaurant. Visitors are welcome to join the campground for non-denominational Christian religious services each Sunday morning at the facility's Church in the Wildwood.

Weko Beach Park and Campground stretches for 900 feet along the shoreline of beautiful Lake Michigan, offering 43 developed campsites and 22 primitive campsites for visitor rental throughout the year. The campground is open to the public each year between May and October for stays of two nights or longer. Guests can stay in luxury at the campground, which offers modern amenities like full-service bathhouses, a dump station, day-use picnic sites, and a children's playground. Six log camping cabins are also available for overnight rental at the campground, featuring lovely amenities like electricity, outdoor grills, bunk beds, and a covered outdoor deck. Four-legged friends are welcome to stay with their owners at the main campground area for an additional fee.

Dune Lake Campground is a family-owned campground facility in Coloma, located just 15 minutes outside of both South Haven and Benton Harbor. The charming campground is located just five minutes from the gorgeous Lake Michigan shoreline and along the path of the lovely Southwest Michigan Wine Trail, a favorite for wine enthusiasts in the Great Lakes region. Visitors can enjoy modern conveniences at the campground, including full bathhouses, dump stations, and access to a lovely children's playground. Two air-conditioned rental cabins are also offered for overnight stay, showcasing beautiful features like a spacious front porch and full electricity. All campground visitors can enjoy a plethora of outdoor activities on the facility's grounds, including chances for swimming, hiking, volleyball, and miniature golf. Hay rides are offered for the entire family at select times throughout the week.

Lake Michigan Campground at St. Ignace is a gorgeous campground in Moran that lives up to its name, offering stunning views of Michigan's beautiful Great Lakes coastline. The campground is located along a bluff region within easy walking distance of stunning 30-foot sand dunes and some of the region's best body-surfing opportunities. Shaded and open tent and RV campsites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, featuring amenities like day-use picnic sites, campfire rings with barbecue grills, ADA-accessible vault toilets, and access to clean drinking water. Dump stations are located at adjacent Brevort Lake, a popular area spot for catching bass, walleye, crappie, pike, and perch throughout the year. Several hiking trails embark from the campground, including the lovely Sand Dunes Cross-Country Skiing Trail and North Country National Scenic Trail.

Lake Michigan Recreation Area is a charming Lake Michigan shoreline located between the cities of Ludington and Manistee, offering 99 single-family campsites for tents and RVs. The campground is located within the beautiful Huron-Manistee National Forest, which stretches for more than a million acres along the eastern banks of the lakeshore. Three group campsites are also offered at the campground for visitor reservation, along with a day-use area for non-campers that offers access to picnic sites, children's playgrounds, an amphitheater, and a spectacular waterfront overlook. Lovely Arrowhead Trail runs through the campground's lands, connecting to the nearby Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area. Family-friendly activities offered at the campground include opportunities for seasonal swimming, fishing, and kayaking.

Crooked Lake Rustic Campground is the lovely visitor campground of Michigan's Pinckney Recreation Area, located just outside of the city of Dexter. The recreation area is known as a paradise for outdoor thrill seekers throughout the year, offering opportunities for backpacking, mountain biking, and angling along the banks of several excellent fishing lakes. Campsites are located within the beautiful Rapid River-Manistique Ranger District, located along the banks of several inland lakes in a rustic, primitive environment. A small campsite can be rented by families throughout the year, measuring 35 feet by 35 feet. Many rental cabins also dot the shoreline of Crooked Lake, available for overnight stay with advance reservations. 26 miles of multi-use trail in the park offer access to additional backcountry camping experiences.

Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho Campground is a delightful family camping resort located just outside of the city of Muskegon, accessible via US31. The campground is a great choice for families traveling to the region to visit nearby Michigan's Adventure theme park or fish and swim on the banks of gorgeous Lake Michigan. Over 100 rustic campsites offer areas for RV and tent hookups, providing access to clean bathrooms and day-use picnic sites with fire pits. Six rustic sleeping cabins can also be rented, featuring air conditioning and modern amenities. Lovely onsite activities include a 14-acre catch-and-release fishing lake with a designated swimming area, volleyball and basketball courts, a children's playground, an arcade, and a gaga pit. Complimentary wireless internet service is available at the campground's clubhouse, which is also home to a camp store stocking basic camping goods.

Ludington State Park Beach is a spacious state park just north of the city of Ludington, stretching across 5,300 acres between the shorelines of pristine Hamlin Lake and nearby Lake Michigan. The park encompasses gorgeous sand dune, dam, river, and forest habitat areas and is home to notable historic attractions like the 1876 Big Sable Point Lighthouse, which can be toured as part of guided tour experiences during the summer months. Manmade Hamlin Lake offers excellent opportunities for swimming, boating, and fishing throughout the year. Four campground areas are offered at the park at its Pines, Cedar, Jack Pine, and Beechwood areas, offering a total of more than 350 tent and RV hookup campsites. Miniature rental cabins and backpack hiking sites are also offered at select campsite areas. The park's Cedar Campground is home to a full-service camp store and bicycle rentals.

P. J. Hoffmaster State Park is a gorgeous state park stretching along more than three miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, showcasing stunning hiking and skiing trails that offer unparalleled Lake Michigan views. The state park is home to the famed Dune Climb Stairway, which leads to the top of a massive sand dune and is home to a panoramic observation deck. 297 modern campsites are offered at the park's campground, including a number of 50-amp electric hookup campsites for RVs. Campsites vary in size, but many are located within the shade of tall trees, offering ample privacy. Campers can stay for up to 15 consecutive nights at the campsite, which offers amenities like a children's playground and dump station.
