Filled to the brim with interesting historic attractions, Genoa is a must-visit town for anyone travelling to Nevada. This little town was the first pioneer settlement in the state, founded by the Mormons in 1851. Today visitors can combine outdoor activities like hiking and biking with a number of excellent historic attractions including the Mormon Stations State Historic Park, the Genoa Courthouse Museum, the Genoa Bar and the pretty Pink House. After you have admired all the historic sites you can go hiking on the North River Fork Ranch or take on the Genoa Loop Trail before returning to town for a well-earned drink at the Genoa Bar.
