The Billings Studio Theater started over 60 years ago as a play-reading group which took place in the homes of early members. Over the years it has become a vital part of the community, a place where strangers turn into lifelong friends. The theater is a place to read, research, rehearse, sew, build, produce, promote and perform productions that touch the soul of the patrons. Visitors are in for a memorable performance that will have them returning year after year to the volunteer-based community theater, with plays such as Becky's New Car and Desperate Measures. Workshops are held for various skills including production, makeup, dialects, accents and various other aspects of the arts.
