Review & FAQ:

Named the ‘Best Historic Venue in Oregon’ and placed on the National Register of Historic Places, Liberty Theater originally opened in 1925. It was restored by the local community and relaunched in 1991 as a concert hall, performing arts center and event venue.

Perfectly resembling a ‘20s-style vaudeville motion picture theater, Liberty Theater is fitted with Italianate décor and gives visitors the opportunity to experience what it would have been like back then. There are many events scheduled throughout the year including the Astoria Music Festival, the North Coast Symphonic Band, and other featured events. Original adaptations are also on stage throughout and are a must-see for visitors.
