The Cosmos Mystery Area is a unique destination for family fun in Rapid City that has been around since 1952. It’s a place where people of all ages can experience a world where fun, mystery, and science collide, and the laws of nature have gone “berserk.” This is particularly true with the mystery house. Guests can take a guided tour of the Mystery House, where demonstrations show the power of the “Cosmos force” and boggle the mind, or dig up gems in the geode mine. Tour guides are specially trained to combine comedy, science, and mystery in their tours.
