Shale Lake Cottages and Cabins are located on working winery which overlooks a scenic 14-acre vineyard.

The cabins have been scenically placed right on the edge of Shale Lake, while the cottages are in an elevated hill-top position, overlooking the lake and the vineyards.

Each of the cabins have been individually decorated and no two are alike – guests are welcome to choose the configuration which best suits their needs on the website.

The winery is open from March to December and offers a heated wine garden where you can sample the produce.

There are 6 km of trails through the vineyards with ample opportunities to stop and picnic.
