The stunning Romanesque Basilica was built in the 11th century, on the site of a former church. The classic Latin cross-shaped church is over 100m long and 64m wide and is topped by a dramatic barrel vault which is over 21m high. Visitors are very welcome to take a self-guided tour of the basilica, assisted by an audio guide which will lead you from one point of interest to the next.
