Quintana Beach County Park is a gorgeous 52-acre beachfront park on Texas' Upper Gulf Coast, located in the charming city of Quintana. The park provides direct beachfront access to lovely Quintana Beach, the home of the remains of the 1862 Fort Bates and the WWII-era Freeport Harbor Defense. It is open to the public year-round, serving as a popular destination for swimming, surfing, beachcombing, fishing, shelling, and wildlife watching throughout the year. Full-service RV campsites offer electric hookups and access to prime amenities, including day-use picnic sites, modern restrooms and showers, children's playgrounds, and a lighted wooden fishing pier. Overnight rental cabins are also available with advance reservation.
