Review:

Oban is found on the west coast of Scotland just under three hours from Glasgow and is known for its dramatic coastline and rolling countryside hills. Oban is also surrounded by islands including Kerrera Island where there is ruins of a castle left for visitors to explore. The town is a great place to visit because while compact and walkable on foot, there are many attractions and sites to see including castles, beaches, gardens, forests, art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, museum, a chocolate shop and distillery, and plenty of pubs. The castles visitors can see in and around Oban include Kilchurn Castle, McCaig’s Tower, Gylen Castle, Dunollie Castle, Castle Stalker, and Dunstaffnage Castle.
