Review:
Also known as Uncas Leap, Yantic Falls is a breathtaking 40-foot waterfall found along the Yantic River. The site has held great historical significance for the Mohegan Tribe since 1643, when it was the site of an important battle against a rival tribe, but it's also a place of natural beauty that beckons visitors to explore. There is a mile-long loop trail that leads around the site, which features information about the site's history as well as spectacular views of the falls. Visitors looking for a little more exercise can also take the Heritage Trail, which leads into downtown Norwich. Map
