The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore spans 15 miles along the shore of Lake Michigan, and protects 15,000 acres of natural landscape and wildlife. Outdoor activities include over 50 miles of hiking trails, horseback trails, beach going and swimming, fishing and boating.
