Review:

Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal is the country’s first neo-gothic church with breathtaking architectural detail that dazzles the eyes.

From its exceptional stained glass windows to its blue colors and gold leaf details, it’s a decorative wonder. The Notre-Dame-de-Bon Secours Chapel inside the Basilica was built for religious ceremonies like weddings. A stunning carved altarpiece is the focal point of the emotionally moving Chapel. Residents of Montreal must reserve their wedding day six months in advance to accommodate pre-wedding preparations. For all others, the timeline is eight months of planning and preparation. Weddings are held on Saturdays.
