See and taste all the fantastic local goods Northern New Mexico has to offer at one of the country’s largest and most successful farmer’s markets. Passionate about supporting local farmers and promoting a thriving agricultural community, the Santa Fe Farmers Market started from humble beginnings in the 1960s with a small group of farmers selling goods from the back of their trucks. Now that market is made up of over 150 local farmers and producers. Visitors can browse through fresh fruits, vegetables, and nursery plants along with processed and craft items made with at least 70% local ingredients. The market also prohibits reselling, meaning all products are sold by the very same people who grew and produced them.
