Founded by Joel Irby with the goal of bringing bold, progressive, neo-American beer styles to Oklahoma, Stonecloud Brewing Company produces big juicy hop bombs, experimental barrel-aged sours, and other creative brews. The name for the brewery was Inspired by the spectacular beauty of the Colorado mountains, where owner Joel spent many years climbing and exploring, and it is set in the historic Sunshine Laundry Cleaners building at NW 1st and Classen on the West side of downtown OKC. Initially built in 1929, the structure provided industrial services to much of the city, and now serves as a gathering space for the community to come and savor great beer, good food, and a relaxed, laid-back ambiance.
