Review & FAQ:
The USS Bowfin is a submarine vessel that was an active part of the military during World War II. The sub was first launched exactly one year to the day after the attacks on Pearl Harbor, and so she earned a moniker as the Pearl Harbor Avenger. The Bowfin is one of only 15 surviving submarines from World War II, and visitors who wish to explore the sub can do so in Honolulu. A variety of outdoor and indoor museum exhibits will teach guests about the Bowfin's history in World War II, and show many other artifacts of military importance, including torpedoes, a conning tower, and a jet-powered cruise missile.
