Halona Beach Cove is a pocket-sized rocky beach which was made famous in the 1950’s when it was used as the real-life set for a romantic movie called “From Here to Eternity”. It is located on the right hand side of the Halona Blowhole overlook and is surrounded on three sides by steep rocky outcrops. You will need to hike down over the rocks to reach the beach. Although Halona Beach is very pretty and inviting, visitors are advised to take extreme caution when swimming – there are dangerous currents and the water can become very turbulent if you swim out too far. It is advisable to only venture into the water on calm days.
