Review:

Founded in 1999, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum recognizes and honors aviators who defended freedom in the Pacific Region. The museum is internationally recognized, and locals and visitors of all ages flock to the museum to better understand and appreciate aviation history.

The museum is located on historic Ford Island and includes the Ford Island Control Tower and two hangars. Visitors can explore the aviation exhibits, a majority of which are dedicated to the Pearl Harbor attack and World War II – much of the damage currently seen on the museum’s hangars are damages that were incurred during the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941.
