Review:

Known as "The White Dove of the Desert," the Mission of San Xavier del Bac is a Catholic parish that has served the spiritual needs of local inhabitants since 1797. The mission was originally part of New Spain and then part of Mexico before it became part of the United States in 1854. This cathedral is constructed with Spanish-style architecture and is decorated inside with beautiful murals and statues. The church is still used today for masses and special events and is open to the public. A museum and gift shop are also on the premises.
