The Chehaw Park and Zoo spans across more than seven hundred acres of conservation, pristine land, as well as a wildlife park. One of just two accredited zoos in the state of Georgia, with the other being Zoo Atlanta, the Chehaw Zoo focuses on three founding areas: education, preservation, and conservation. Children can take a ride on the train or visit with friendly animals at the petting zoo. The park itself is home to one of the largest parks in the state for kids, BMX bike racing, and nature trails. Chehaw Park also includes campgrounds with numerous RV and tent campsites.
