Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion was constructed as the state’s Executive Mansion, home to the governors of Georgia between the years of 1839 and 1868. It is also one of the state’s “most perfect examples” of the Greek Revival architectural style and has received the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation award.
