If you are planning a visit to Atlanta around December you should definitely try and be in the city for the much-loved annual Children’s Christmas Parade. The much-anticipated event is a firm family favorite and your children will love seeing the enormous floats, fabulous balloons and all the marching children’s bands. You can expect to admire amazing two-storey high helium balloons of your children’s favorite holiday characters while cheering on the musicians and singers as they make their way through Midtown Atlanta. The parade kicks off at 10.20am (rain or shine) at Peachtree and 16th Street. If you want to ensure a good viewpoint you can book bleacher seats in advance.
