Located just outside Ellijay, in the scenic Southern Appalachians, Cartecay Vineyards Wine and Craft is a must-visit attraction for visitors to Blue Ridge. The winery welcomes visitors to come and spend some time soaking up the beautiful views as you sip a glass or two of their very special Cartecay wines. All the estate wines are made using exclusively Cartecay grapes, grown in the 14-acre vineyards that surround the winery. The winery produces a variety of French-American hybrid grapes including Vidal Blanc, Traminette and Chardonel as well as a few Native American cultivars. You can enjoy a tasting in the renovated 1890’s barn or relax outdoors on the Chimney Patio.
