The Pensacola Museum of Art is spectacularly housed in the 1906 Spanish-style old city jail, which itself is to be found in Pensacola’s Downtown Historic District. The small museum focuses on 20th century art, and in their 20th century art collection are works by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Louis Comfort Tiffany, and Andy Warhol. There are works on canvas, paper, and sculptures, a decorative arts collection of American and European glassware, and some African tribal art. The Children’s Art Room has educational programming for kids, as well as summer camps and birthday parties. There are also educational opportunities for adults including workshops, films, and lectures.
