Dunedin Golf Club was designed by Donald Ross and first opened to the community in 1927 in Dunedin, Florida, opening on New Year’s Day that year. The golf course has hosted more than fifteen PGA Senior Championships and is the original home of the PGA Merchandise Show and the PGA of America. Many notable golfers have played at Dunedin Golf Club, such as Paul Runyan, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Gene Saraze, and Bobby Jones. The course served as the original PGA national headquarters from 1945 to 1962, and also includes The Fairway Grill and a practice facility.
