Review:

Located on 66 acres of land near Coral Springs, the Tall Cypress National Area was saved from developers and instead protected as a wilderness area for all to enjoy. The area is named for its dense canopy of Cypress trees which watch over the swampy undergrowth of ferns, palms and other plants which in turn offer a habitat for a large variety of birds and reptiles. You can explore the area along the elevated boardwalk which stretches for over 2000 feet, leading you through a collection of separate natural habitats which are perfect for bird watching. There are restrooms at the parking area, interpretive signs along the boardwalk and a seating area where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.
