Review:

Venice Beach is a Certified Blue Wave Beach that is located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, just south of the city of Sarasota. There’s a unique, sail-shaped pavilion on the beach that has been an iconic landmark since 1964. The beach has a nearby concession area where visitors can grab something quick to drink or eat; there’s also free parking and lifeguards always on duty. Venice Beach offers picturesque views of the Venice Public Fishing Pier, jutting out over the Gulf’s emerald waters. Visitors will often see dolphins frolicking in the waters, as well as sea turtles nesting on the beach between May and October. Additional amenities include two beach volleyball courts, picnic areas, and boardwalks.
