Review:
Located at mile marker 67.5, Long Key State Park provides some of the best views of the Atlantic Ocean you could ever hope to have.
In fact, visitors to this beach simply won't be able to resist wading out into the water themselves when they step foot on the soft sands and spend a little time soaking in the sun's rays.
Be sure to bring some protective footwear if you do plan on doing a little wading as there are some rocky spots beneath the waves. Even with the rocks, snorkeling and diving are very popular here and the waters are clear and shallow, allowing you to see where you're going and stay safe.
Free parking isn't available at this Islamorada beach, so you'll need to have a little cash on hand if you want to visit, but it's definitely worth the price of admission and there are some gorgeous hiking trails in the area as well.
