The College Park Aviation Museum preserves and promotes innovations in aviation in Prince George’s County and at College Park Airport, while also fostering lifelong curiosity, inventiveness, and research about the science and history of flight.

The museum first opened its doors to the public in 1998 and is a Smithsonian Institution affiliate. Inside the College Park Aviation Museum is a 1.5-story open exhibit space, highlighting a display of artifacts and unique aircraft and telling the story of the many firsts of the College Park Airport. The gallery is home to reproduction aircraft and historic aircraft that are associated with the airfield’s history.
