The Kittitas County Historical Museum is a must-see collection of historical facts and exhibits housed in the 1889 Caldwell Building. This building is one of the oldest in the area and was built after a historic fire in 1889. The museum has six themed rooms of history to explore. The business, military, and car rooms explore the local connection to those subjects.
The parlor room features an exhibit focused on home life. The entry and main rooms invite visitors to enjoy numerous eclectic collections such as hats, Native American heritage items, gold mining tools, and a rock and mineral collection. Admission is free.
