Under the care and management of the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association, the Daniel Lady Farm is a historical gem in an iconic city of American history. It was this farm that set the stage for Major General Edward Johnson’s attack on Culp’s Hill, and today, visitors can see re-enactments and live history demonstrations about this moment in history.
Guests to the Daniel Lady Farm can also enjoy tours of the grounds which are home to a massive German bank-style barn that was constructed in 1842 to replace a log barn. On special occasions, the Daniel Lady farm hosts educational workshops and camping opportunities for scouts and reenactors.
