The Commemorative Air Force Museum is an aircraft museum located on North Greenfield Road. The museum was founded in 1978 with a donation of a World War II era B-17G aircraft named Sentimental Journey, and the first permanent hangar was built in 1985. As the number of aircraft grew, additional space was required, and a second building was constructed in 2003, giving the museum more than 30,000 square feet of exhibition and facility space.
The museum displays many aircraft as well as World War II artifacts and memorabilia. In addition to offering tours, the museum hosts many events and can be rented for special occasions.
