After years of performing in different hotels and Notre Dame locations, the local theater made the historic downtown landmark formerly belonging to the First Church of Christ Scientist its new home. The beautiful, domed building with Greek architectural elements perfectly reflects the importance the theater holds as a pillar within the local art community. South Bend Civic Center puts out a number of productions throughout the year from lesser-known titles to popular stories like West Wide Story.
