You can see English Bay Beach while strolling along the Seawall; taking a walk on the fine sand or cooling off in the sea are just a couple of activities that will tempt you along the way. It’s a fun and lively place where there is usually some kind of beach volleyball tournament going on. On New Year’s Day, the beach serves as the starting point for the annual plunge of the Polar Bears Swim Club into the freezing waters. During the warmer months, you can rent a kayak or enjoy the slide from the large swimming deck.
