The Casa Blanca Museum was erected in 1521 and originally served as the home of Juan Ponce de Leon, the first governor of Puerto Rico. It holds the distinction of being the oldest residence in San Juan and is a fantastic example of Puerto Rican architecture and design. Today, this former residence is a beloved cultural and historical museum that features a permanent collection filled with artifacts from the 16th and 17th Centuries.
