Larrabee State Park is located on Samish Bay, on the seaward side of the Chuckanut Mountain, close to Bellingham. The park is Washington’s original first state park and was established in 1915. Today the park covers more than 2000 acres which provide an excellent outdoor recreational area. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the San Jaun Islands as they make their way along a short pathway to the beach. If you want to explore a little further you can go hiking along a network of hiking and biking trails. There is easy access to the water for paddling, boating and sail-boarding and you can also enjoy salt-water fishing and camping.
