Whether you’re a tattoo enthusiast or simply know how to appreciate various mediums of art, the Northwest Tattoo Museum and Tattooing is a unique and incredibly interesting attraction to visit while in Coeur d’Alene. The museum is home to a growing collection of tattoo related items like stencils, tattoo machines, and the like dating back from 1910 up until the present. Works and paraphernalia from tattoo greats like J.F. Barber, Cap Coleman, Sailor Jerry Collins, and Ernie Carafa, among others, can be seen as the museum which operates as a non-profit. Additionally, tattoo legends like Jay Brown, Robert McNeil, Richard Brockway, and Tracey Jones actively tattoo in the museum.
