Piecasso Pizzeria and Lounge brings traditional hand-tossed gourmet pizzas to Stowe, located within the city's former Gale Farm Center and Grill 108 buildings. The restaurant, which was opened in 2000 by Eduardo Rovetto, is known for local-favorite New York-style pizzas, available in personal, small, or shareable large sizes with traditional, gluten-free, or cauliflower crusts. Specialty meat and vegetarian pie offerings include the Positive Pie, which pairs spinach, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, and chevre cheese on a white sauce base, and the Big Kahuna, which infuses a barbecue sauce base with Hawaiian-style ham, bacon, and pineapple. Calzones and strombolis are also served up throughout the day, along with artisanal sandwiches, Sicilian-style pastas, and fresh seafood entrees. Diners can complement all meals with a selection of local Vermont microbrews and clever martinis.
