Along with being a venue in the city for music and other types of entertainment, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand also occasionally acts as a Rehoboth Beach wedding venue. One of the most popular events at the bandstand is the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series that runs from the middle of June to Labor Day Weekend. This concert series provides free entertainment to both local residents and visitors, and has been doing so since the year 1963. Every year, more than forty bands perform at this open-air event venue situated only steps away from the beach.
