Like the Christiana Mall, the Dover Mall isn't a traditional outlet center but does feature tax-free shopping at many of its stores. Opened back in the early 1980s, this is another of Delaware's most historic shopping venues but has seen extensive modernization and renovation in recent years to become a popular spot for 21st century shopping.

Covering an area of over 800,000 square feet, the Dover Mall is simply huge and features a 14-screen movie theater in addition to major department stores like Macy's and JCPenney. A huge food court and 85 shops fill out all that space, with stores offering menswear, women's fashion, kids' clothes, jewelry, gifts, and more.
