Enriching the lives of Avon’s visitors and residents through art since 1974, the Farmington Valley Arts Center is a wonderful place in which artists and art lovers can inspire each other, exchange ideas, learn, create, and exhibit their works.

The participants vary in age, background, and ability, and the center creates the perfect community to better understand each person’s personal artistic journey.

There are events held throughout the year so go and explore one of their gallery exhibits, attend a special exhibition, have an ‘art party’, or sit in one of the many workshops or educational programs on painting with watercolors, abstract painting, or mastering pastels.
