Review:

Committed to preserving the community’s rich and beautiful history, Healdsburg Museum is home to a hefty collection of local artifacts that may be viewed free of charge. Visitors can walk through a number of permanent collections and rotating exhibits, which showcase items like Pomo and Wappo Indian artifacts, historical paintings, photographs, and more. The museum was originally named after its founder, Edwin Langhart, who created inventories of the city’s archival collection and was appointed as Healdsburg's first official historian. Healdsburg Museum found its perfect home in the town’s former library, which was originally built in the 1910s through funding by Andrew Carnegie. After the library relocated in 1987, hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised by the community and historical society to restore what is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
