Howarth Park is a much-loved community recreational park which covers more than 130 acres. At the heart of the park there is a large lake which is ideal for boating, fishing and paddling. The lake is surrounded by miles of scenic hiking, biking and jogging trails as well as various sporting facilities including tennis and soft ball courts. Families will absolutely love the 3 playground areas which provide hours of fun for children. There are steam-train rides, pony rides, a carousel, a jumping house and an animal farm. The Land of Imagination is a specially designed playground which allows physically or mentally challenged children to join in the fun.
