Review:

Veterans Memorial Park is a beautiful public park in Dana Point that honors the service of area members of all five branches of the United States armed services. The park, which was dedicated in 2010 in a ceremony overseen by Mayor Steven Weinberg and Colonel Willard A. Buhl, is connected to nearby Strands Vista Park and is open to the public each day of the year between sunrise and sunset. Each Veterans Day, the City of Dana Point and the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization rededicate the monument in honor of the service of American veterans. A lit concrete path meanders throughout the lovely park, which is dotted with benches for sitting and observing the nearby Pacific Ocean shoreline.
