Managed by the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Runyon Canyon Park is a 160-acre outdoor space that can be found on the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. The highest point in the park is Indian Rock, which towers at 1,320 feet, and is a great hiking destination. There are several trails to choose from, many of them which loop through several interesting points in the park. The trailhead at Mulholland Drive is the most popular option, and because of its close proximity to Hollywood Hills, it’s quite common to sight celebrities there.
