At 4,310 acres, Griffith Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America and is often called “the Central Park of Los Angeles”. You can find it at the edge of the Santa Monica Mountains right in the heart of the Los Feliz neighborhood.
At the very front of the park you’ll see a statue of Griffith J. Griffith, the industrialist and philanthropist it’s named after. There are several attractions within the park which are perfect for visitors of all ages. Some of them are Bronson Canyon, the Autry Museum of the American West, Greek Theatre, Griffith Observatory, the Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum, the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Travel Town Museum, and the site of the Hollywood sign.
