Malibu Colony Beach , also known as Malibu Beach, is a narrow public beach located in front of the gated private Malibu Colony Road, which is home to spectacular beach homes and mansions. Visitors can access the beach at low tide conditions from Malibu Lagoon State Beach or via Malibu Road, with paid parking offered at nearby Malibu Lagoon State Park or free parking offered along the Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu Road.
Local travel tip: Beachwalking and swimming are popular visitor activities, with tide pools exposed during low tide conditions along the ends of the beach making for great wading and beachcombing spots.
